@Ambo100 The upvote arrows says "This answer is useful", so there's a room for answer which don't answer the question but are useful anyway. Whether my answer is actually useful is of course open for debate, even if everybody can agree that it does not answer the question. Sometimes, some "funny" answers can gather votes as well, but that probably shouldn't be encouraged.
@ZhaphBenDuguid Now you can tell us, you did actually know what SNIT meant before asking, didn't you?

@Joubarc SNIR? at the time of asking it, no, I didn't know - I'd found it on the linked post when doing further research for my reverse SNOT180 answer, and couldn't actually work it out. Some extensive googling after asking led me to the answer, and by then @Oezi had answered ;)
