Grats, Enderland!
Where were the results published?
the data is available on the election page
the official post hasn't been made yet, but if you have an STV client, you can run your own processing
I use OpenSTV and you want to use the Meek STV processing method
Ok, I thought perhaps my S/O voodoo was declining when I couldn't find it...
enderland had something like 156 primary votes vs 56 for the runner up. Threshold for election was only like 108 or something
I forget the exact numbers and closed my results window
(and don't feel like starting it up again :) )

@MikeVan the election page has links for the data file and also for downloads for Open STV.
@MonicaCellio must... be... adminstrator to run... UGh!
@MikeVan really? Wow.
@Monica
@MonicaCellio If Ender came in first, and Maple came in second, is it fair to assume the votes fell along the lines of the number of reputation points each person had?
@MikeVan hang on; I didn't actually check that. Firing up OpenSTV...
Vote counts (first place only):
enderland: 163
maple_shaft: 56
Matt: 14
Wesley: 31
itcould...: 5
Mike: 11
Captain...: 5

i'm impressed that I got 14 tbh

Had there been a second slot, after vote transfers it would have gone to maple_shaft.
@MattGiltaji I am glad that you did. You're new but you get it, from what I can see.

Hey, not dead-last for me, at least my mommy voted for me!
Interesting; if you run the election with more seats, with vote transfers and candidates being eliminated and stuff, the results do not change much.
Sometimes in STV you'll see somebody who is everybody's second choice but has few first-place votes, so with one seat that person loses but with two seats he comes out of nowhere.
Wow, so much to read, thanks everyone :)
@enderland did we generate a gazillion notifications for you? :-) Congrats and welcome! So go accept the mod agreement already. :-)
Something like that, lol

i think the most interesting thing about this election is that NO ONE voted the same way as anyone else
although i guess that's not surprising given the probabilities
That's crazy
My mom and I voted for me, both of us... Really!
