Q: Using setInterval() to make data reactive

Daniel_KnightsI have a video component passing data from an async GET request to a child component: // Inside a v-for loop <video :title="video.title" :id="video._uid" > // ... <Controls :videoData="video" /> When receiving the prop in Controls I then use that data to select the video by it's id in th...

> Test for compatibility with database and frontend:

- Game actions should be replayable
- Prevent situations where a deserialized object is not the same object as the one in game, causing updates on something else
- Replaying actions should generate the same view as when the original action was made.
- Store JSON-files of replays that are tested, with assertions of what is to be expected? This can also detect for view-changes or breaking replay-changes.
- No Kotlin-specific data se

[Zomis/Games] Zomis pushed commit 40402c18 to master: Fix GameHead not showing up when observing games
[Zomis/Games] Zomis pushed commit 9e481e08 to master: Remove GameHead as common game component #51
[Zomis/Games] Zomis pushed commit d24fc6ec to master: Add elimination CSS for Liar's Dice
[Zomis/Games] Zomis pushed commit e97ce68c to master: Dynamically change title #51
> It's now up to each game whether or not to include the `GameHead` (which is the old component).

Most of the newer games have already a nice way to show all players that are in the game, I think that's enough for now.

Should guests be automatically logged in or not? Or should they just retain the same username if they click 'Login as guest'? With the way the other cookies works, it's easier to login automatically.
> Highly related to #117
> Other important goals/features of this project:

- Easy accessible (works on all major browsers, should also work on mobile browsers)
- Easy to get started. No complicated registration required, it should be possible to login using OAuth using various OAuth providers, or login as guest.
- Provides re-usable components (see #96 for frontend components, some similar functionality also exist for back-end - such as card zones)

Major differences from Tabletop Simulator:

- No "flip table"

@bazola On what? Or which one?

35% issues open
yesterday, by Simon Forsberg
@M.Doerner I know. But I am a single developer and my number is growing. 36.9% of all my issues are open. For Rubberduck, that value is 24.9%
Horray. Reduced the value with 1.9%...

@bazola Ah ok. The background-color. Got it.
I'm starting to consider if I should maybe use a combination of both background-color and box-shadow...

@SimonForsberg but #Muricuh must continue winning the COVID-19 race. How will America become great again but if not by killing 100,000+ of its citizens through sheer ignorance and idiocy?

@IvenBach Haha, excellent point!
Hello everyone! Have a nice day! (standing in as @Marc-Andre is in the cottage)

@SimonForsberg If a test keeps failing.. delete it

@skiwi It doesn't keep failing. It just failed this once because I had, as usual, forgotten about it.
It's a helpful test though as it asserts that my documentation is correct generates my documentation.

Boss: Where’d all the tests go?
Skiwi: They didn’t pass. So I deleted them. Now we’re really moving forward with writing new code!

I know that’s not something you’d really do. Just came to my mind as really funny.

This is weird... everything builds locally but not on Jenkins
Nevermind. When running the same command, it fails locally too
But running tests in IntelliJ works fine

@IvenBach You kid, but sometimes it really happens at work

8:02 PM
Uh... Please tell me they go through the root cause analysis to ensure the test isn’t required. If not, wow.

@IvenBach Well sometimes it turns out the feature isn't required

Shouldn’t it be in a feature branch then?

Time taken to implement start of new game: Approximately 1 hours 10 minutes
Time taken to play test so far: 30 minutes

I need to think about one thing... if action-keys should be sent from backend, and how

Monking

@IvenBach More like some legacy thing
Basically nobody knows how it works, what it was supposed to do and apparently nobody uses it anymore

10:31 PM
Well then.
Skiwi: Boss everyone was too afraid to delete that failing test. So I did.
Boss: What was it testing?
Skiwi: Nobody knows. They were too afraid to say anything to you about it. I got fed up with seeing it and wanted to you know.
Boss: You mean you’re the only person willing to rock the boat around here?
Skiwi: Actually —
Boss: Skiwi Say no more.
Skiwi: :thinks: FML. I’m getting fired now.
Boss: If there’s any more of these let me know. You get a raise for your willingness to inform me.
Skiwi: Thank you. :thinks: I should slowly dole out the other 300+ failures to get the tech lead position

11:26 PM
@IvenBach lol. I love all of these
