@rumtscho Different topics. For me, it’s a very complex task and project, in the context of an industrial cooperation, Hubby’s corner is something else.
Working overtime means that one ends up in the kitchen at 8:30 pm with this:
(Project chaos & one damaged car -> working about twice as long as usual -> no time for grocery shopping this week -> running out of bread for the minor’s school breakfast -> remembering that there should be a bag from the local mill in the pantry -> letting the mixer rip while cooking dinner. The rest is obvious.)
If it had been me, I would have given the children money and said "buy whatever you find in the cafeteria" without even asking if it will be junk food.
@Jolenealaska It wasn't so recent for me, or I would have known where it was and in what context. I have now two sources in mind, but checking would be a bit of work.
Every time I turn around with these people they are bending me over again. And all the hearing accomplished was that the late fee bullshit is stopping. they're still going to mess with me every way they possibly can.
Like someone in the TL said, it's a pretty reasonable business model.
The big fear (eviction) and the untenable situation with the late fee are resolved. They are calling their extraordinary compromise of allowing me to pay on the 3rd of the month as originally agreed without a late fee a "reasonable accommodation" under the ADA.

@Jolenealaska I'm glad at least the worst bits are solved, although I am sad to hear that you have to find a way to pay such a large amount to be able to keep your cat.
That was never for money. I would have to become a better tutor to charge for it. I was working on that (becoming better) when I got sidetracked by the landlord crap.
