I think authors can publish their own stuff, but contributors can't. But, also, once its scheduled, contributors can't touch their stuff anymore (but authors still can)

@Mien I played around with them. They were good enough for publication, except that your camera seems to judge colors rather badly. But with my fixes, we got a more consistent look.

Thank you for providing so many pictures, it was a good thing to have enough to choose.

You put them in oil and spices after drying.

Pepper, garlic, thyme, and basil.

You can salt them before or after drying.

It is extremely easy.

And they are as good as the most expensive ones you can buy.

And you can use the cheapest tomatoes.

I chose to buy cheap tomatoes and let them riper for a week first.

They're fucking great, provided that they have been soaking in oil and spices for a few days.

Preparation took me about 10 minutes for ten tomatoes.

Drying takes about 2–3 hours in the oven at 100 °C.

Oh, they may give them all kinds of silly names, but I can assure you that they are not dried in the sun.

Well, traditionally they probably were. But of course, not in a modern food plant.

It just takes very long to dry them in the sun: animals may eat or defile them, and rain may spoil them.

They need to be quite dry when you take them out, but not so dry that they become brittle.

They need to be chewy.

They will shrink a lot.
