@Poutnik no they are not enough
send me more

@CuckooBeats site:stackexchange.com OR site:libretexts.org OR site:wikipedia.org OR site:hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu chromatography
oki but you didnt read any specific book as such?
and do you guys read quantitative analysis or smth?
i think there is qualitative and quantitative analysis
There are many books and I read Czech books in 80s, some translated books, and since than occasional reading.
sure, there are tuns of books about quantitative chromatography.
ooooo but i must say indian authors (except some) frustate me a lot and I just discourage reading them at the best
GC and LC is focused on quantitative analysis/
tuns as in tons?
09:18
One letter cannot put cuckoo's AI of the rails.....
sure, tons
site:stackexchange.com OR site:libretexts.org OR site:wikipedia.org OR site:hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu quantitative liquid OR gas chromatographic analysis
oooo so that means
wait
lemme check first
BTW I am so worried about Wizard XD he is just here for the past 48 hours
He seems to be like everywhere.
oooo its hereeeee
lol
@Poutnik XDDD
I am definitely not the best guy to be asked to recommend so high quality current textbook of analytical chemistry, or specifically about chromatography.
09:26
BTW, chromatography is a HUGE domain.
@Poutnik oioioioi
well i remember like the teacher who taught us astronomy during the prep camp...he was a spectroscopy expert and i think he did some phd in that
oioioioioi is Indian interjection expressing delight over yummy lunch.
and the other teacher did phd on some binary star system i forgot the name lol
Post 10 messages, with 1 or more starred, in chat.
yea that was alcor-mizor
09:30
Mizar?
yeah maybe idk
did you see alcor and mizar separately back then?
But not sure if it is not just visual (not bound) binary star.
i did before my glasses
:)
I guess I did.
alcor mizar is visual i think alcor has another binary star

I was once able to determine time from the date and orientation of Ursa Maior with accuracy +- 10 minutes.
But I have forgotten the formula.

@CuckooBeats some Indian textbooks remind me for some reasons some Brazilian textbooks of physics that Richard Feynman wrote about in his popular book "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!"
the most outstanding thing is butchering the name van der Waals to "vanderwall/vanderwaal". Like vanderwaal forces.
For that, I have a canned comment response:
Some India textbooks use strange term "vanderwaal" (or other variants) as a distorted Dutch family name "van der Waals" ("from Waals"; a nobility predicate) of [Johannes Diderik van der Waals](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Diderik_van_der_Waals), the famous physical chemist in late 19th century.

Ignorance of textbook authors/editors may be an excuse for students using such textbooks until this is pointed out to them. The r

@Poutnik ohh in that case you could just check the uh chatgpt link
GUESS WHAT
NO CLASS TODAY AHAHAHHAHAA
so that tmrw i can finally go to school with 8hrs of sleep
tmrw = this marvelous week
and 2 hours of free scoldings from the physics teacher.....yup i went to school today and sadly the physics teacher caught me......i answered all the easy questions wrong.....and she is like "ya aint no way you are not coming to school tmrw"
I have checked both and fled away soon.
@Poutnik tmrw is short for tommorrow duhh why are you so bad at abbreviations ;)
@Poutnik Ancient war strategy#01
Why are you so bad in estimation how bad are people at abbreviations?
15:36
@Poutnik i was reading civics and it was the first time i fully read the ncert book, then i discovered that exercise and thought to send to ya
Tom Morrow
you got a chance to know more abt our education
but u missed
XDDD soo dramaticcccccc
I have made a picture about it, but did not have time to study it in detail.
I am working, you know?
@Poutnik ahahhahahhahahaaaaaaaa well i just consider old people to be bad at it, some indian stereotypes if you dont mind ;)
@Poutnik no i dont, and also i was (teasing) duh
Rainbow is rare here in February.
15:39
you ask any kid in india- what is the first image that comes to your mind when i tell you the word "old people" - 99.99% of the answers would revolve around- "an old man with white hair and black round specs like mahatma gandhi sitting in a rocking chair outside his house with a newspaper in his hands and a cup of chai on the tea-table"
Some are young in 90, some are old in 15.
atleast he is fair and not dusky.....
@Poutnik mind you i am taking damn advantage of your age XD
lol u got offended so easily....
who is offended?
Perhaps Princess Cuckoo is offended.
15:45
dude mithoron just dropped facts in the comments :OOOOOOOO
https://chemistry.stackexchange.com/questions/184880/clarification-on-electronic-configuration-of-nickel-palladium-and-platinum
Mithoron is the master of shortcuts.
yeah he is dead drop cool
i think he is better being mod, he has scolded me enough.....
@CuckooBeats No, my hair is still dark brown.
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???? are you serious lol
but his scolding is sharpening your wits.
15:48
@Poutnik even my parents got grey hair are you sure abt that
ohh i get it....europeans yeah they age slower ;)
Well, I am getting first few silver hairs, but they are exceptional.
@Poutnik ohh dear it has actually.....like i literally copy his commenting style it makes me look soo coool
But my beard would be already white, if I let it grow.
ohhkkkkk wait i need more info for chatgpt to make a drawing of you....
i m ranked 580 in users all time
16*36+4
And how many weeks do you plan to spend on chemistry yet?
16:01
lol umm idk by the time i get to reach the indian team for icho
maybe idk..?
All India team?
yeah
for icho its only 4 ppl cuz lack of funding
the indian team....
And when is the next international ChO?
uhhh its in uae
uae = July?
(Joking, I asked when, you answered where).
lol
the results for incho r TOMMOROW
Tomorrow?
I was close - Jun/Jul.
There will be hot, but you Indian are used to it.
What is age range for the team? Or rather grade range?
16:09
but the thing is...china has already made its icho team, and here in india we have the ocsc in april....wherein the practicals conducted in india are terrible...and then the PDC would just have 2 months for preparation....
PDC?
@Poutnik grades 10 to 12 inclusive...but the restriction is stricter in age...born on/after july 1 2009 to before university
@Poutnik pre departure camp
thats the second ocsc..but only for the qualying team
Were you born on/after July 1, 2009? And not on/before ?
july 14, 2009, the bastille day :)
that looks like you....
So students younger than born on Jul 1, 2009 should be excluded, right? Too young, right?
Cuckoo should not be allowed to go, right?
