Why fractals in particular? Why not generalize to "knowledge"? And why wouldn't the answer be "of course"?

If you are asking whether or how knowledge could or should be applied to these issues, in most cases I have no ide if it is even possible. Fractals are not the magic answer to everything. They're usefulness, or lack thereof, is not a philosophical question.

@keshlam So the Knowledge in a plumbers mind and and an electricians mind is not the same from the same source because you cannot be an electrician plumber and a fireman and the same time? and the source of knowledge does not come from the plumber, electrician and firemen and also does not come from nature?

It is immensely hard to differentiate between wry humor and intellectual angst on this site. There is far too little of the former, and far too little of the latter. Ok, knowing that I can now relate to you. Two quick points: Knowledge is only useful to the extent that it helps you. A Phd in particle physics isn't useful if you are flipping burgers to pay off student debt. And yes, you can be trained, licensed, and employed as an electrician, plumber, and fireman concurrently. It would be pure Chaplinesque comedy to perform all three functions simultaneously.

Sarcastic humor on the internet is a very, very, very difficult thing to pull off. Especially in a place where people are trying to give serious answers to questions. I would suggest that this is the wrong place for it, unless you make it so broad that it spoils the joke. In any case, the right thing to do with a non serious question would be to close it, so please don't bother asking it.

Yeah, while I appreciate humor i have to agree with @keshlam. I didn't downvote, and don't have close vote privileges, but I found your question as useful and interesting as how can we use quantum entanglement to organize our kitchen drawers and achieve inner peace?

@keshlam I wasn't refering to my question this time I think knowledge through self gain should be shared and I guess this is the purpose of this Web site, or is to express intellectual superiority? You can get a sense of a person's emotional state from there communication.

@MichaelHall I know knowledge is usefull and and yes a PhD is very useful for yourself and everybody else such as a doctor and the doctors patient doctors earn a lot of money. A doctors mind can be used at a truck stop or a local cafe. My grandmother worked in a mill and her husband at power station. My grandmother was smart enough to be a Dr. Funny old 🌎 the life you choose. It's sifting out the good the bad and the ugly.

It's only useful if it's used. That's the definition of useful.

@MichaelHall So application of knowledge is usefull I agree it you apply yourself and your knowledge it's usefull to yourself. Is our conversation usefull. I've learned about you and you about me. I guess you know I had a lot of problems now I'm not turning this conversation into a therapy one.What do you get outvof this website but a score on a leader board and reward of points and a gold star who rewards you with those points I big thumbs up its nice ro be rewarded with visual treats or is conversation it's own reward? Do you get a sense of pride when you have helped people understand?
