Q: What was the route for ships from England to South Africa in 1840?

Barbara SchreinerI am writing a piece that requires me to understand the route that ships would have taken from Liverpool to Cape Town in the 1840s. What I have not been able to ascertain is whether the ships would have stopped at any ports on the way, and if so, which ports. Is there anyone who can assist me?

@T.E.D. You there? I think I’m lacking a basic thing over here, I was reading the indifference curve, and Wikipedia has to say:
> an indifference curve connects points on a graph representing different quantities of two goods, points between which a consumer is indifferent.
I want to know why do we need to draw a graph between quantities of two different quantities?

Interesting. I don't remember dealing with that particular curve before.
Seems like an attempt to do too much in one curve to me.
I guess it could be considered an attempt to generalize the supply/demand curves, by showing that one axis doesn't have to be money.

Q: How viable is Wikipedia as a source of information for future archaeologists?

yoloIf the entirety of Wikipedia was saved on a (rather large) hard-drive. Assuming it can be read and understood, what are the benefits and issues future archaeologists and historians would have with it?
