Q: Was the goat gland doctor a eugenicist?

KT JayDoctor John Brinkley (1885 - 1942) was a debunked medical doctor famous for popularizing the "miraculous goat gland cure", in which he purported to cured impotence by replacing testicles of patients with the testicle of goats. Please recommend me a book of the subject economics which covers the following topics:
1..... Meaning and definition of economics
2...... Inductive and deductive methods
3...... Indifference curve
4...... Law of demand
That is to say an introductory book on Economics, I won’t mind even if it is jargon-ful. I don’t want to have a new college-style book, it should be meant for self-study and should have been written by this quote in mind “the first impression is the last impression”.
Are there any video lectures for the introductory economics?

It is possible I read this in a book by Bill Bryson, either "at home" or "a short history of nearly everything". Does this sound right? Does anyone ha...

Q: What was the persecuted group that was formally banned from leaving France?

user2352714I remember reading a long time ago about a marginalized group on the southern coast of France who was persecuted by the French government. This group for quite understandable reasons wanted to leave France but the French king at the time passed a law forbidding members of this group from leaving ...
