@JAsia IIRC, the Mongol forces were almost entirely horse archers, as were the Huns. And yes, they destroyed everyone. The main reason everyone didn't do it too was because you had to basically live in the saddle to be able to do both at once well, and farming societies just couldn't do that in large numbers.
