@Amit There's (probably) a way to fix it, but it's a bit fiddly, and would make the code much harder to understand for a tiny improvement.

The problem is that the ymin gets expanded to allow space for the X axis tick marks and labels.

But we can make it look better! Simply pass frame=True to the show() call.

FWIW, there are some plot parameters that can be used to modify plot quality, see doc.sagemath.org/html/en/reference/plotting/sage/plot/…

BTW, you can append an 'r' to numbers to tell the Sage preparser to leave them alone. See doc.sagemath.org/html/en/reference/repl/sage/repl/… This is handy when setting default values in input widgets, eg default=10.456r since it prevents those ugly trailing zeroes.

@Amit In what way does it crash? Do you get an error message? Or does it just become unresponsive, with a ghosted update button? If it's the latter, I think it's just the server kicking you off as a security measure. The Sage server is free, but it doesn't want people to suck up all its power as a free cloud computing resource, eg bitcoin miners. It had big problems due to those guys a few years ago.

Another Sagecell security mecanism is that it restricts the sites you can send requests to. Several years ago, you could send requests to any site, but they now use a whitelist, due to the bitcoin miners. Fortunately, Github is on the whitelist. And so is NASA. But for a short while all my Horizons scripts stopped working because NASA wasn't on the whitelist. Fortunately, Andrey is pretty responsive to whitelisting requests. groups.google.com/g/sage-cell
