@Amit Hey, I finally gave it a listen now, and while it's good, I don't like it anywhere as much as "Futurecop! - La Foi En L’eau ft LGHTNNG". Thank you for the suggestion regardless, and sorry for slow response :P
00:27
@user430580 Oh it's fine dude
@user430580 The turtle suggestion system, today suggests this thingy
00:53
The turtle system is powering down, catch you later

@LuckyChouhan I'm doing rather good, nothing too fancy, thanks for asking! And you? Happy to see you in the chat again! Yes, I found a new "joke" =P
"In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is."
@user430580 Hi doing rather good, I'm Oak!
You have dialed an imaginary number. Please turn your phone 90 degrees and try again.

@PetəíŕdtheWizard Hell will freeze sooner! ^_^
This place is hot like a fresh pancake
~ Not everything is freeze-worthy ...
Thermodynamics disagree...
As for me, I got a new keyboard.
Really cool but it's a lot different from my old one. So need to get used to it.
Kiss kiss to the keys keys
rofl
It's still really easy to make typos.
16:48
Embrace your typos
runs away
70 wpm ._.
facepalms
Is it a practical concern? You need to type fast for RL purposes?
Nah, I just like getting high speeds.
I find it stressful... :D
If you like a challenge, try raising your WPM with hands crossed ^_^
It's not very pleasant to see your WPM from from 105 to 70 after switching to a better keyboard.
@Amit heh, I'll try! :D
16:54
It's a bit similar to trying to write with your non-dominant hand
With hands crossed?
Boo, give me a chance to get used to this madness called keyboard first! :D
:D
@PetəíŕdtheWizard Don't worry, keyboards are a bit like cars. They have break-in periods... :D
Them springs need to get familiar with them tiger fingers
... or paws?
I got 103 wpm but then dropped to 76 wpm :(
@Amit :P
Did I tell you it's a mechanical keyboard?
16:58
/imagine A wizard tiger breaking-in his newly purchased keyboard..... and being very happy!
@PetəíŕdtheWizard What does it mean?
I'm going to use this prompt instead: A joyful tiger in a wizard's robe, his fur brilliantly orange with black stripes. He's standing in his quaint wooden study room laden with ancient unread books, unusual potion bottles, and mystical artifacts. Magical sparks are illuminating the room as he energetically taps the keys of his brand-new keyboard in front of him. The keyboard is a sleek, modern design in stark contrast to the archaic surroundings. The tiger wizard is clearly ecstatic about ...
his new acquisition, typing with gusto, his tail waving in excitement, and his eyes gleaming with happiness.
Man that's so good
^ Generally explains how those work.
I got the Blue one.
@OakBot LOL
17:00
@PetəíŕdtheWizard Haha, sounds like you're diving into the world of mechanical keyboards! That's a fun place to be. Enjoy those clicky blue switches! 😄
@OakBot tap tap click click
@PetəíŕdtheWizard Sounds like music to my... well, if I had ears! Keep those clicks coming! 🎶😄
rofl
76 wpm again! Damn.
@PetəíŕdtheWizard ahh I see... well I guess I never had a non-mechanical one (excluding the built-in laptop one which I don't use)
@Amit same for me! But completely no mechanical ones, not even ones I don't use.
17:04
@PetəíŕdtheWizard My mistake... my current keyboard is apparently a membrane keyboard... it doesn't feel that way!!
@Amit heh! It feels weird when transferring from a membrane to a mechanical.
@PetəíŕdtheWizard Yes I do recall using a few mechanical ones. I think the power curve is quite different... it is a bit easier to start pushing a key , but it sticks to the bottom more. Dunno if that's a good way to describe it. Just my recollection
@Amit yup, that's exactly how I feel mine!

Computer scientists have 10 jokes. Both of them are funny!
:D
A mechanic, an engineer, and a programmer are driving to Las Vegas.

Halfway across the desert, the car conks out.

The mechanic says "I think we're out of gas. We could walk to a gas station."

The engineer says "I think we exceeded the heat tolerance of the radiator, and it overheated. We should just wait and see if it runs again after it cools down."

The programmer says "Let's all get out and get back in again!"
^_^
Researchers in Antarctica made big news recently when they announced they'd discovered a superconductor that operates at room temperature.
That doesn't sound like a programmer. That sounds like a Windows 95 user
@user430580 =D... the funny thing is, that would be a breakthrough probably...
20:34
=P
and that's how you ruin a joke
=_=
@Amit haha true =D
The best way for a college student to identify what kind of lab he's in: If it crawls, it's biology. If it stinks, it's chemistry. If it doesn't work, it's physics.
=D
There are 2 types of people in this world. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data...
20:46
I will give it a listen once the current song finishes playing
Wait, it the same Grimes that was Elon Musk's girlfriend??? =O
no idea about that
I think I only came across this song through the Bleachers...
@user430580 But yeah, Wikipedia says you're right
They even have 3 children =O
Yes, I searched a little and also confirmed this, BTW one of their children's name is "X Æ A-Xii" =O
But yes, nice song that surprised me with the lyrics, I believed the entropy is just referenced in the title
They should have named him \mathfrak{X Æ A-Xii}
$$\mathfrak{X Æ A-Xii}$$
:D :D :D
@user430580 oh no... it's the chorus: "Calculate the entropy, running out of energy...."
20:56
@Amit yes, that surprised me
oh, you wrote believed* - past :P
my bad
don't worry it's ok :P
21:11
Worrying will self destruct in approximately $7\pi$ hours
For large values of $\pi$, that is more than 24 hours!

2 hours later…
23:07
If you ask different people what is pi:
Mathematician: around 3.14159265358979323
Physicist: around 3.14
Engineer: around 3
Slimy salesman: I won't scam you like the others, I will give it to you for 2.5
23:56
@user430580 I forgot that this is actually the same author... :P
