Q: Can human based products be used successfully in making foodstuffs without any resulting products being flops or outing them as human based?

Conan HighwoodsBefore I get to the question, I will give a bit of context. Basically I have this organization of cannibals called CCC(Chew, Convert, Continue) that want to of course not only eat people but make others eat people and/or add new members to their ranks. They do this by making human flesh/secretion...

For a real-life legend, there's Sweeny Todd and Mrs Lovett. for reference - from fiction, but possibly based on some historical precedent. Not sure that we can design a way to stop a product from being a flop, if we'd the formula for that, then we'd make a mint. Now we can use science to test for horse-meat in burgers, but what's the level of tech in your story?

And now I can't stop thinking about the soap from Fight Club.
Okay. There are at least two huge gaping holes in this question! 1. What is the setting here? Is this basically 21st century Earth, or are we looking at a completely different world that has humans? 2. Is the word "human" used in any way on, around, or near these food products when they're introduced to the public? I can say that one of the products in your list has actually been made for sale.
How large of an operation are you envisioning here? Is it a small mom-and-pop store, or a massive industrial foodmaker?

The CCC were originally going to be in a postapocalyptic world, somewhat like Fallout, but I eventually thought it would better to have them in our modern world, so yeah, 1990s to maybe a decade into the future. IDK if it will be blatant, maybe if they get popular. For now they will probably just use "You are what you eat" as the slogan and just list meat and milk instead of adding human in front of the ingredients. @elemtilas
Modern to mildly advanced like lifelike VR and better food processing tech. @Escapeddentalpatient.
It might grow, but for now they are like at a level where they sell products in the store, but are not extremely popular. Cult following though. @Cadence
@ConanHighwoods put the clarifications in the post, not in the comments. Comments are never permanent.
One more issue: in the question, you say "our or a similar world". It is extremely important to distinguish whether the overall culture absolutely reviles cannibalism or whether it allows it. In your comment, you said the setting is "our modern world". Could you edit your question accordingly (making sure that your edits don't invalidate the answers you've got)?
At birth a human female has about a million eggs, with a total volume of about 1 cubic centimetre in total. That's less than 1/40 of even a medium chicken egg - are the CCC getting 40+ girls to bucher to substitute for every chicken egg in a cake recipe? Quite apart from being morally abhorrent, it does not seem even remotely practical... or researched. Whether the substitution could work seems almost irrelevant.
To explain what @KerrAvon2055 said, mammalian eggs are extremely microlecithal. They are just ordinary cells, with no yolk or egg white, because mammalian embrios obtain their sustenance from the mother through the placenta. You need a microscope to see them.
Why wouldn't they be, humans are made of the same stuff as other animals. except for the eggs, human eggs do not contain the cooking relevent parts in chicken eggs. Their real problem is not getting caught by food inspectors who can be very thorough. You can't just lie they take samples and test the DNA of meat.

Please... I understand that probably it might qualify the rules but this question is somehow... disgusting. Here I see also comments about eggs in female human babies. Sorry I do not read further, I only VtC and I think I do it pretty well.
"I only VtC and I think I do it pretty well." ? Anyway, I can get why this question is gross, but it is not rule breaking. @GraySheep
@ConanHighwoods I do this very rarely, you can also see my review history, I vote mostly for "leave open". This is an exception, I do not believe that disgusting things would be fine. One thing is a post is not interesting for me (then it is to leave to others) and another if I can not read it because disgust.
So am I morally wrong for posting this?@GraySheep
People do realize that this is for fictional purposes? The place for ethics threads would be our meta site. No-one here is advocating murder or cannibalism (AFAIK).
@GraySheep --- For those who VTCed because this is "gross", please understand that in worldbuilding, there can be gross things happening. This is one of them. Being gross is NOT a valid reason to VTC. This question didn't cross any lines as far as site rating or vivid depictions. I'd recommend undoing that vote and perhaps finding a different reason to close.

Not certain I get the pineapples in jello reference. There's an enzyme in pineapples which interferes, are you referring to that? If you want pineapples in jello, the you'd first need to coat them in agar (seaweed jelly), then you can use them in jello with no issues with setting. How does this relate to eating "long-pigs" (AKA people)?
