Yeah I've been really confused
also there seems to be contradictory info that was written by different users
so basically it's suppose to serve the same info, but it's written differently
I mean from the actual website to the wiki

I don't recall the history exactly but hand-wavingly I think it probably started with the wiki and then that was clumsy to link to and a web site was set up, probably with the intention to replace the Github wiki
though there are some administrative things which probably still make more sense in the wiki

probably create a new branch for your changes and then submit a PR
