@Iszi Now you just mouseover your user name at the top of the page and as if by magic a logout button comes up as one of the options in the dropdown. Not sure when they updated that - first time I've seen it.
@packs Not sure why they don't have a direct link to chat...
although there is a direct link when you are in single question view
@RoryAlsop Doesn't work on-mouseover for me, but it does on-click. Must have happened sometime yesterday night.
Think they must have picked up your comment :-)
Still doesn't provide any functionality on Meta though.

Gentlemen
afternoon/morning
How's the knee?
@Iszi It was in the neighborhood of 9-9:30pm EST when the change went in.

I notice the per-site "message" icon has been removed. :-(
Haven't actually seen this video yet (51+ minutes long) but it looks to be of interest.
From the article that pointed me to it...
Many people think that Linux is immune to the type of Autorun attacks that have plagued Windows systems with malware over the years. However, there have been many advances in the usability of Linux as a desktop OS - including the addition of features that can allow Autorun attacks.

This Shmoocon presentation by Jon Larimer from IBM X-Force starts off with a definition of autorun vulnerabilities and some examples from Windows, then jumps straight into the Linux side of things.

Larimer explains how attackers can abuse these features to gain access to a live system by using a USB flash drive

Yeah, getting people to realize that Linux is not immune to lots of things is difficult.
We received a ticket about a user complaining of weirdness with her email. In it she said that her computer can't be infected because it's Linux.
Same root problem as the "immune to autorun" thing

Hey, @AviD. Could you check on the kosherness of penguin bacon for me?
I would check isitkosher.com but it's not up yet.
18:58
...and we're back to food.
19:35
I find food to be a very important part of a security analyst's life.
Without it what are we but hungry and sober blokes looking for evidence of child porn on some random guy's computer.
