The default "GreenOnBlack" terminal theme in Kali is hot garbage

These aren't special unicode characters, they're font surrogates

Surrogates were meant to make certain "difficult" character combinations, such as "ff", "ft", "rn", etc. look good

@forest I didn't appeal the ban because frankly, I was fed up with the bullshit. I've spoken to a lot of people from here in private, they know my point of view. I believe the way moderation is implemented is questionable at best. The original principle used to be community self-moderation, and that's what I adhered to. The person who (I suspect) banned me wasn't part of the community, he wasn't a regular in the DMZ, nor was it someone who ever spoke to me.

To my knowledge, very few people here had issues with me. And those who did spoke with me about it. From my time here, I never had the feeling like people were unhappy to see me come to the DMZ. And that's really what matters, isn't it? But alas, no use crying over deleted accounts. I'm still haunting the site, and telling people their questions suck.
