Can Tor safely (anonymity-wise) be used at the same time as other browsers & web apps on the same machine?

@ChocolateOverflow as long as the program is not attaching identifying information to your Tor packets (which is rather unlikely and would require hooking into the circuits/doing things on a network level), it shouldn't be an issue from an anonymity standpoint

@ChocolateOverflow You also have to be careful about not leaking your identity by mistake. I have, at least once, accidentally typed in stuff that should have gone into the Tor browser into my normal browser. That sort of mistake can be disastrous for anonymity

where all the fur went? I was expecting the dog to look smaller somehow... when I cut the fur from my dogs on the end of spring it looked like another breed of dog

I got an esp32 from aliexpress, I will use it to take timelapse pictures from a construction. I intend to make it take a picture, scan wifi APs to see if my phone is around and send all pictures to it if found. if not, it get to sleep again.

Actually, come to think of it, timelapse photos of a construction site fro beginning to end would probably be pretty cool

it's gonna be my home, so it will be a nice project
constraints:
- it will be hung high up so taking it every week or so to get the sdcard is not practical
- it will be hung high up so taking it to recharge batteries is not practical
- it will be exposed to rain, wind, sun, so it will need a good enclosure

- a pack of AA batteries for power
- a pickle jar or something for enclosure

a solar panel would mean more components: the panel, rechargeable batteries, BMS... it would add cost, and I expect this setup to get stolen after some time (it's Brazil, don't forget about that)

@RoraΖ it depends on the format of the glass on the bottom. if there's anything flat enough for the 4mm lens, it will be fine
so a glass pickle jar hung to a pole is less enticing than something in a nice 3d printed enclosure with a solar panel on top

How often do you need to take a picture for the time lapse? Once or twice a day?

I am thinking about one every hour, so I can put on a 24 fps video and have a second of video per day
or get only pictures during the day (7am to 7pm) and have half a second per day... night shots with this camera are going to be indistinguishable from opening Paint and painting the entire canvas in black anyway

with the images in hand (probably timestamped) I could create a video with pictures taking at the same time of the day
the entire collection would be for storing and playing with, and a selection of the good ones would made into video later

the construction will take an year, so I'll have enough time to think on all things I can do with that
as the pictures are all the same angle, I can put a slider to see the progress in time
