Doesn't mean non-existant just because you can't see a huge bulge in his pants

So admitting your point of view for the sake of the argument: why, for once that a guy was trans before it was cool, is the character portrayed as a guy instead of a woman. Half the males became females, but not him?

In several dialogues, he says he doesn't mind being a man or a woman for you, because what matters to him is that he can be by your side, and he will act in whichever way serves you the most.

As for why he's not "trans"? The reason is simply because it's japan, and they don't see transsexuality as this huge focal point like the US does.

Astolfo on the other hand is a bit of a weird one. In Fate/Extra, it was revealed that he was male, but in F/GO, his gender is "a secret"

But it's heavily implied he's male, because, well, it's already canon anyways

So, (s)he is both, but they choose "male" in the code because it was too difficult to add a 3rd gender? Still, they default for female as soon as they can get away with it, so I find it strange that they did not do it for him.
