How's your experience (as an attacker) with apparmor, firejail, and SELinux?
I'm reading about them and I can see they're like apples and oranges but I'd like to learn about some exp with them too

8:55 AM
@JohnZhau Since I mostly do web stuff, I rarely get in contact with it

Do people at your place get drunk and talk about confidential stuff?

Never in public, and we talk about internal stuff internally

You know too much about Super Mario 64 when quater alternate universes make intuitive sense to you

There should be a canonical Q&A for this question, but I don't feel like looking right now:

@FireQuacker Can you formulate a canonical question here?

Q: Is Gnucash's ** flatpak ** safe to use (with online banking)?

nutty about nattyFollowing up on this Q&A I'm asking myself if I can trust this, bearing in my this. Other options would be to use a PPA, compile from source myself or wait a long time till Ubuntu will include a more recent version of GnuCash in its repos. I would guess that PSD2's two-factor authentification i...

@MechMK1 Well, I was thinking that there might be a question already (but I'm a little busy for searching)
On the other hand, there's a better chance that most of the questions similar to this would all be asking about specific websites, too
I'm pretty sure something like this was asked yesterday or the day before, so I was thinking there out to be some common dupe target for this category

Sorry, I was playing Half Life

Half Life 1?
I never got to play it... I always gave up before the longest intro in the history of long intros finished... and that's a shame...

@ThoriumBR Half Life Alyx

nice!
my hardware aren't even close enough to think about running it

I save quite a bit of cash by not having a car or a life
So I can put tons of cash into good hardware

9:57 PM
I cannot save much with 3 small kids...

Hence my point with not having a life
I have to celebrate every moment that isn't taken away by soulcrushing responsibilities

when I was on college I had the fastest computer of my entire college
and it was an IT college... I saved a lot of money building custom computers to people, and saved enough to buy the best parts available at that time...

I probably saved a ton of money by being so unpopular that I knew nobody who would sell me weed

I had a DVD recorder (in 2002, that was rare), a 17" flat screen Sony monitor, the largest HD available, a top of the line Asus motherboard with all Corsair RAM it supported, the best Athlon XP processor available, and a Radeon AGP card...
for years, I always ran all games on the best graphic settings without even thinking
I had it until 3 years ago, but it was just catching dust on a corner and I ended up tossing it out... my wife was complaining about that huge black full-tower case

Yeah, it's such a good feeling, being able to boot up a game, put everything on max and just playing

10:03 PM
I am now dying to play final fantasy 7, so I will have to buy a PS4... an used one.

Luckily, the base PS4 isn't that expensive anymore

yes, it's good... the week I built it, a good friend of mine went home and I was running Winamp 2... he asked why I wasn't using Winamp 3, and I said without thinking: "nope, winamp 3 is too heavy".... he look into my eyes, and asked: "heavy? for you?"
It haven't downed into me yet that I had the best possible rig available, and after 6 years on a P133 with 32MB RAM, I now was the owner of a freaking beast
