@NH. What they are using now is designed to help the Pentagon perfect AI for drone strikes, as well as give Google better ability to identify what it sees with street view.

Their text captcha was used for making OCR more accurate, scanning books. Now it's about identifying cars, the data for which is fed to the Pentagon.

It's absolutely reprehensible.

Why do crazy people gravitate to security-related discussions? Like this example from a mailing list about Tor... It's both hilarious and kind of disturbing.
