@WilliamMariager Your worries are justified. Password managers aren't really built to protect against attacks where a malicious software is installed on the same machine where you use the password manager.

@WilliamMariager - if you assume the machine is compromised to the extent that the clipboard could be monitored, then there are so many other attacks that would also work. As @Adi said, the password manager does not protect against that. It is a store for all your passwords so you don't use the same one multiple times, or write them down, or use easy to remember, weak ones

Yeah, that makes sense. In the situation where they can monitor the clipboard, they could just as well log keystrokes. And good point that password managers aren't made to protect against it. Thanks for the responses. :)
