@tylerl Neat!
@Ohnana The colour patterns represent the NN's predictions
@SomeGuy ah, they put the directions at the bottom of the page

Haha
I missed that too :P

@MarkBuffalo WTF WHY!?
@SEJPM It's for a good reason
Trust.
@ThomasPornin shhhhhhhh
18:47
@ThomasPornin oh, that's why it's so quiet in here...
@ThomasPornin delete! :)
@DavidFreitag Why? It is not a secret. It should not be a secret.
4
Yes it should!
@ThomasPornin can mods un-delete stuff on chat?
@SEJPM AFAIK yes
18:49
@DavidFreitag i'll twattah ya david, ok?
@SEJPM #WorksForMe
you guys speak in tongues
@DavidFreitag is it a secret open enough to be handled via open tweets or shall we go through DM setup?
@SEJPM def wanna dm your email
@DavidFreitag I think DM requires mutual followship. I'm your newest follower
18:56
Yup, followed
@CodesInChaos You just got a (probably) strange email invite. Accept it.
19:11
@DavidFreitag no, mods can read deleted messages but not undelete them
@Gilles o
@DavidFreitag why do you want to keep it secret anyway?
@Gilles Because reasons.
If someone you don't like asks for an invite, you can just ignore them.
The first rule of ex-DMZ club is, you don't talk about ex-DMZ club?
Nah, my conscious wouldn't let me
19:25
@Gilles because tinfoil?
conscience? or something.
You know what I mean.
@DavidFreitag Conscience is the right spelling.
19:47
<--- feels left out
@schroeder we'll take care of you soon :)
@SEJPM .... creepy
@schroeder DM incoming
@DavidFreitag what does DM mean, anyway?
D??? message?
@Gilles Direct Message.
19:51
@Gilles direct

@Gilles Dungeon Master, usually.
@Gilles non public message directly adressed at a user
/me grin
@SEJPM yes, but in what context?
19:52
@Gilles other platforms
is that the new hip way of saying email or what?
@SEJPM the chat platform you're using? You're using Slack, right?
@Gilles it's the new hip way of saying "other platforms", including but not limited to twattah and such services
20:05
@ThomasPornin lmao
yeah, DM is twitter lingo
You're a Twitter lingo.
@Simon try not to be offensive simon :P
Or what, you're gonna flag me and then I will never come back?
:D:D:D:D
VIVA LA REBELION
@Simon maybe :P
ok bye
20:32
@Gilles Hey, we have 2 new access requests for the CTF chatroom. What should be done?
@HamZa I normally ignore them when they don't meet the rep requirements
so, what is the rep requirement?

Q: A Security Stackexchange CTF team

Lucas KauffmanUpdates: Added first challenge to prepare We now have an IRC channel! Join us in #SecSE-CTF on Freenode: chat.freenode.net:6667 We have a CTFTime team, secse. Please join this. We have a chat room on chat.se which will be closed during competitions to all but team members then re-opened when w...

> Have at least 400 rep on security.SE or have more than a combined 2000 rep on your network profile in related fields (Crypto,Stackoverflow, Webmasters, Serverfault,... ) sites in an unrelated field (Arqade, The Workplace, ...) do not count!
@Gilles ok, because I couldn't check the 27K guy
hmm, that sounds most interesting.
20:47
@Jacco interested?
yeah, but I've 0.1% experience with pentesting
@Jacco we're currently participating in a "high school" CTF. Which means it's much easier. Also it's not just about pentesting (offensive sec). There's also crypto, stegano, forensics etc...
I'm definitely interested.
@HamZa, so I'd be useful with my crypto knowledge?
@SEJPM the problem: we already have 5 registered users and there's only one spot left. The other problem: the other guys had some stuff to do IRL so I'm kinda alone :p
20:52
@HamZa I didn't exactly meant for this specific challenge but rather for the CTF team in general
@SEJPM oh indeed, you just need to request access and follow the feed or suggest to participate in one CTF
when (at what time of the day, and what days) would I need to have the time to participate on this?

Q: How do I save myself from a sinking vehicle?

DucatiKillerEvery year in Arizona there are monsoon storms and somebody inevitably get's killed in a car that is sinking in water. It appears the primary issue is getting free from the vehicle. After that, there's an entire set of other issues. Aside from that, how can I free myself from a sinking vehicle...

(If I don't have the timeframe available, I would only annoy my team)
This one is probably of interest
20:55
@RoryAlsop, what is wrong with rolling down the window?
it all depends on the CTF. I've been doing a series of High School CTF to practice since they are relatively easier. They are usually one week long.
The "normal" ctfs are usually in the weekend lasting around 24h to 48h.
Participation isn't mandatory, neither is "full" availability. For example, I sometimes can only play on sundays and not on saturdays because of my parttime job.
You tackle the problems you have interest in any time you want.
@HamZa requested access
I would typically be able participate at least one day of the weekend (probably two if I know up front) and I'm mostly available in the evenings (UTC+2).
@Jacco We usually put an announcement on Meta.Security
@SEJPM accepted
As I said, I'm definitely interested, but I'm unsure I have the specialized skills to really contribute anything, other than a working brain and the typical programmer's skills.
21:02
@Jacco I started like you and with "high school"CTF's they are definitely a good entry point. Of course, you might learn a lot by reading some write ups. Bonus: sometimes there's also "programming challenges" as well!
I sound like a recruiter haha
learning would be the main draw. Count me in if there is room.
@HamZa subbed
@Jacco request access and I'll accept it
@Jacco accepted
21:19
@Jacco - these days all windows and sunroofs are electric. Assume they will go first.
