Seriously? What thief wants the files from the Raspberry Pi that you plugged into your car? I think you need to seriously reconsider how much the rest of the world cares about your personal nerd hobbies.
The downside to that protection scheme is that if you accelerate too hard in any direction you'll have a bag full of 2,200°C molten metal floating around in your car.
