@MarkBuffalo ts;dw: car cuts over three lanes blindly into the fourth and slams into a parked semi, only to be totally owned from behind by another semi
@paj28 Are you sure that the team lead experience must be 5 years? The recruiter explained that the needed experience is 5 years in the industry and experience leading a team
I remember when sgi had their offices at Salford Quay. Before much of the improvement of that area. They had regular trouble with gangs. One day a gang came in at night and stole all the RAM from the machines on the ground floor...
Oh - that is impressive: so that spam post got closed down so quickly, when I went to also destroy the user account, their account page says "Users reached: 4"
That is some damn fast community anti-spam action!
theregister.co.uk/2016/01/22/… <-- Golf clap for RSA, who instead of using standard social media integration, actually processes the user's twitter creds
I mean shit a link to twitter with a pre-populated tweet would've been the safest option but at least oAuth is less heinous than actually taking the creds
The company my other half works for has recently employed a new admin assistant, but she is constantly making basic spelling and grammar mistakes.
A few examples would be which/witch, your/you're, there/they're/their. There are also a few basic words which the spell checker can't even suggest th...
I really love it when I get different number of search results with different sort order on YouTube. That explains why sorting is done through the filter drop down menu LOL
This is the comment:
First of all you didn't follow their advice - they specifically said a musical artist, of which Bieber is neither.
Why is this flag declined?
@TildalWave I think there are two issues with it, apart from the "hey let's be wikipedia-grade serious", which indeed we can afford to deviate from. Firstly sometimes comments like this do get flagged and removed, and it would look good for outsiders/newcomers if it didn't seem that the "high rep people" like AviD or the bears can make jokes but their own jokes got deleted. Secondly, there might actually be people, who are of age to be at university, who... yes.... who like Bieber ...
I know some of the undergrads around me do. It's terrifying but it's the law of nature.
There are pokemon fans everywhere now, which i just don't get whatsoever but hey. Bieber is probably no worse or no better a child cultural phenomena than Pokemon
as I've said, I did have another point besides the snark (it was s ubtle one about the password rules), but I really dont remember what I was thinking at the time (it was late at night.)
that said I do agree with the meta post, and what you said - it smells "iffy".
and if it wasnt so darn popular, I would have removed it by now.
@SteveDL also, about who is allowed to make that dirt - even if it just feels like there is a difference.
no wait that isn't nor should be an issue ... you're not the only mod around here, and you were all elected and done a great deal for the site, more so than most other of its members ... if you're not allowed a bit of noise, then .... well, then fuck it, pardon my French
its for the same reason mods dont handle flags on themselves, and leave it for other mods, even if it would be handled just as fairly as any other flag.
now, for all you know, someone may have flagged it, and a different mod handled it, and then came along this one and posted his answer. You are still left the assumption of abuse.
@MarkBuffalo I'm not fighting, I'm just saying the post was okay, and y'all should stop attacking him for questioning me.
if we cannot question the motives of our authorities - what do we have left?
I'm sorry, but I feel compelled to vote this down. That was a horrible, not to mention offensive comment, and it would have been deleted immediately if it wasn't made by an abusive moderator. — AviD ♦17 hours ago
I suggest unscrewing the ceiling fan, putting on an oversize kilt, and running away. Don't worry about the body. People will be far too baffled about the man running around with a fan under his kilt.
Is there any possibility to pass this weak comparison? Can user input a file with an extension not contained in $allowed and get past the security check?
$allowed = array('txt','docx');
if (isset($_REQUEST['file'])) {
$file = $_REQUEST['file'];
if (preg_match('#\.(.+)$#', $file, $matched) &
A site as big as stackoverflow must certainly attract a lot of spammers and bots. Hence, I find it strange that they are not using captcha, either to create a new account or to post a new answer as a guest.
Are they using hidden techniques like honeypot or they just expect the community to flag ...
