how come, when I install an ARM type application for my Raspberry pi, im talking about serveral kb's, and the same excact app for Windows is almsot 200mb, and the same one for Mac even larger

@Lighty Probably because the windows installer requires .Net or some other library that isn't already installed. Same for Mac I'm assuming.

A .Net installer can easily be 200MB

And with Linux the dependencies would be installed with the package manager instead of packaged into the installer.

@Lighty depending on how old it is, it might still be one of those dual mode executables on mac too

but I don't know how many people are still doing that since I'd expect most PowerPC support to be long dead at this point

Hello all. I'm here to present a bit of a challenge. meta.worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/questions/675/… - that's the main post about this, but in essence: I've made a new site for the community on Worldbuilding, and I've asked them to see what exploits and bugs there are. However, I get the feeling security experts might do a little better, so if you want to have a go feel free. I advise you to read the post to see what's already been found.

@ArtOfCode We'd need to check out any administration pages as well, to see if attackers with superuser rights could exploit any vurnerabilities in the administration area. These can often be more severe than anything you feature in the actual administration page, as these areas are often overlooked.

Be sure to PM any administration login details when they become available, this is often the most overlooked part of any web application.
