I actually found one that is even more smokey than the Laphroaige. Talisker Dark Storm, in charred casks, is much more so,if you can believe that.

Still like the Laphroige though, excellent flavor, not just the smokey.

@RоryMcCune The first single malt I ever tried (and still one of my all time favorites) is the 10 year old Laphroaig. It's very nice as well.

My range of whisky offerings is mostly "Smokey, extra smokey, very smokey. And one only a little bit smokey".

I picked up a nice bottle of Highland park, the least smokey of my single malts.

not really smokey enough, though...

@AviD Bought a bottle of 15 year old Highland Park for when my father-in-law visited in December, because he isn't a big fan of peat. It's a great selection in that circumstance, and I have to say I really enjoyed it as well. It isn't smokey, as you say, but it's very nicely put together.
