Note: I was forwarded here from Skeptics.SE by AviD. I simply copied the entire body of the question but acknowledge that it may need some tweaking to fit properly with this site. Any edits or comments to that effect are welcome.
Reddit is all abuzz about DRM, piracy and all related topics. I ...
@Iszi "not constructive" is the synonym you're looking for.
[n.b. I generally consider the whole field of anti-piracy and content rights management to be nothing to do with information security, so may not be the best person to evaluate that question. That said, it does show that it's a subjective question if @AviD thinks it's on topic here]
@avid Would it be appropriate to actually delete lance's rant? Totally out-of-place here on several fronts. And can we/how do we help him get on board with useful questions? ....
So people can pay to prevent questions from being closed?

I have several e-mail accounts configured in Thunderbird. I just wanted to move an e-mail from one of my e-mail accounts [A] Trash folder to another accounts [B] Inbox folder. Because the moved e-mail has been lost, Thunderbird doesn't shows it, but here's the catch: Another email appeared in the...
@HendrikBrummermann done. FTR, I still think it's a barely passable question - but passable IMO, nonetheless. Great job on cleaning it up....
@nealmcb @HendrikBrummermann cleaned that one up for us real nice. Still not a great question, but watyagonnado...
@nealmcb yes, I agree - I'd already linked him to How to Ask, but the questions did not seem to improve... That bounty thing is a neat trick, though.
I wonder if a mod can still close it? Though I dont think there is a consensus for it, and its not my area of expertise to be sure that its not acceptable. (It seems closeworthy, but I'm not sure I know enough to make that call on my own.)
@GrahamLee @Iszi I do think it is ontopic (but I agree the wording is not great - @nealmcb did a good job rewriting it). I think the given answers show why it is ontopic - DRM is ostensibly a security mechanism, it is put to us (the security site) to prove our disprove.
Why are people saying that X is not secure?
With X I mean: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/X_Window_System
p.s.: The OpenBSD team succeeded with priviledge separation in 2003, WHY DIDN't the "Linux developers" do this?
