Q: Where's this quote come from "अहिंसा परमो धर्मः" ? What is complete version of it?

We keep hearing in many forwarded WA msg and other tweets that अहिंसा परमो धर्मः is not complete quote and the complete quote is अहिंसा परमो धर्मः, धर्महिंसा तदैव च! So my question is where this quote is from? also, what is the complete quote/verse with the reference and translation?

@TheLittleNaruto Yes, many sacred places indeed. There's a popular notion in our place. If one is visiting Either Badrinath or Kedarnath, then they are obliged to visit the other one too. Because, Hari worship Hara, and Hara worship Hari. So, visiting only one is considered incomplete by many in our area.

As regards Rishikesh, it's a serene environment both for religious and vacation activites. So many ashramas like Divine Life society , Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Patanjali's Yoga center, etc. Also, a good place for adrenaline sports activities like rafting, bungee jumping, trekkings too, if one is of that proclivity. So, physical and "the Self" fitness are ensured. Haha!
