Q: Meaning of "dravau" and "ajir" in "Mangal Bhavan" chaupai

DelsilonI know this is more related to language stack exchange but I am not so sure there are enough people expert on Awadhi there. One of the most famous line of Shriramacharitmanas: बंदउँ बालरूप सोई रामू। सब सिधि सुलभ जपत जिसु नामू।। मंगल भवन अमंगल हारी। द्रवउ सो दसरथ अजिर बिहारी।। As per this answe...

@Delsilon Hi! Welcome to Hinduism Stack Exchange chat room :)
@Pandya Namaste suprabhatam
@Pandya I feel in accordance with rules, at least answers of olden days which have at least one well sourced answer should be deleted.
Personally I feel what the CM for deleting old answers even where a source is not there is a good suggestion because it’s misleading for many people.
Here the accepted answer is very misleading and against scriptures for what was the actual reason for BrahmaJi’s 5th head being cut. There is no Jnana samhita in the shiva Purāṇa and this is a completely unnecessary answer
Another is an example by Tezz, who’s cited proper sources from Ganesh Purāṇa for the moon cursing story: hinduism.stackexchange.com/questions/478/…

@GReyes Hi! Welcome to Hinduism Stack Exchange chat room :)
@Archit Btw, note that we invites multiple answers to the questions as far as they're answering the question ans cite authentic sources.
06:36
@Pandya haan that’s fine if he actually quoted from a valid source. We should delete all that don’t quote from valid sources
At least the ones which already have answers, though it’s preferable to delete others also.
It will encourage users to find correct answers from scriptures wrt unanswered Qs or Qs who’s non-sourced answers are deleted
@Archit Yes, need to take some action for invalid sources
For example I am thinking to....

Q: Non-dual Hinduism : Good ego vs Bad ego

The Crimson UniverseWe clearly know we are not the body but something else. Something spiritual. The non-dualist hindus believe the functions of mind/ego are witnessed by the Higher Self (Brahman) in a dream state ... and the inactive or idle condition of the mind/ego are also witnessed by the Higher Self (Brahman) ...

1) If the article/blog/wikipedia page which are cited in an answer, in turn cites some authentic sources e.g. book/scripture than such answers can be fixed/improved by mentioning the original source and until the answer gets improved it can be kept with post-notice. (Decision: Do not delete)
2) If the article/blog/wikipedia page which are cited in an answer, in turn doesn't cite any authentic or reputed source then it can be considered as opinion of blog/article author only and the answer can be deleted considering unauthentic source cited (Decision: Delete)
3) If an answer cites Wikipedia only answer may be kept with post-notice or can be deleted if claim is crucial or problematic (decision: differed)

Jai Maa Kushmanda 🕉️🙏
@HinduKid beautiful 🕉️🙏
> Goddess Parvati started living inside the center of the Sun so that He can liberate energy to the universe. Since then Goddess is known as Kushmanda. Kushmanda is the Goddess who has the power and capability to live inside the Sun. The glow and radiance of her body is as luminous as that of the Sun.

@Pandya@TheLittleNaruto - We will create a chat room where we can put links of the answers which aren't citing proper sources. This way it will be easier to sort out those. And then you people can either del. those posts or can put citation banner.
@TheLittleNaruto wow!
@Pandya @TheLittleNaruto - It's a huge task and will take some time but we will somehow start it. The other thing is we should ask users to participate as volunteers in looking for such answers and paste the links in the chat room which will create.Wht. you people think about the idea.
@SwiftPushkar That's good idea. At present we want to finalize the decision on which type of answers we should delete.
@Pandya @TheLittleNaruto - I will post a question on Meta calling users to participate in finding such answers.
@TheLittleNaruto Is it a series of LEDs?
14:43
@Pandya Yeah , I think the citation rule was much flexible in the beginning , but as I said we will finalize it by a users pasting a link in chat room and mods will ultimately decide whether to del it or to keep it. And in order to prevent flooding we will restrict the links to say 5 per user a day. At this rate considering 5-6 people volunteering we will sort approximately 25 answers per day.
@Pandya I think they are neon lights.
@Tezz - Hello , You are required to participate in hunting down unsourced answers ,so you are volunteer no.1
15:15
@SwiftPushkar That's a good idea.
@Pandya yes
Did we create a chatroom for that already?
@SwiftPushkar Yes He is. :D
1) i think no one improves answer here except OP. if OP doesn't improve with authentic sources within 30 days, we can delete
2) This is fine
3) we can delete same as in case 1 if post is not improved.
15:32
@TheDestroyer yeah we can't keep the banner hanging forever.

Q: Scriptural reference for Navadurga

Anubrata BitNavarātri is popularly considered to be 9 days dedicated to the worship of Navadurgā i.e 9 forms of Bhagavatī Durgā. However the Devi-Bhāgavata Purāna, which describes the procedure of Navarātri vrata, has no mention of Navadurgā. The only mention of Navadurgā found till now is in the Kālikā Purā...
