IkshvakuOf the 6 astika darshanas, Vedanta holds that the veda-vakyams (Vedic sentences) are themselves literally eternal. This means that veda-vakyams like: agnimile purohitam yajnasya devam rtvijam.... etc. (I offer to god Agni....) are not authored by anyone (rishi, devata, or brahman) but simply pa...

Q: If Veda vakyams are "eternal" because they are repeated every kalpa, then why can't other vakyams also be eternal because they are repeated?

IkshvakuSome people say that the veda-vakyams are eternal because they are repeated every kalpa. So vakyams like "yathA purvam akalpayat" (he created the universe just as before) are eternal. But so what? Even laukika (ordinary) statements like "Today is a hot day", "my wife is beautiful", etc. are repea...

Ging round and round about advaita at the verbal level means nothing. "Aham Brahmasmi" from a realized person is of a different quality from "Aham Brahmasmi" uttered by a layperson or scholar who hasn't yet realized the truth.

@Vedavedya I can't tell that because for that I would need to have access to that knowledge :-(
But afaik Gayatri pariwar mission was to preserve Vedic yajna and rituals and knowledge and to spread to Hindus.
