and the person who posted is a long time user of various SE sites and mod on two sites. She spoke it in the presence of bunch of CMs. So, you need not to take a word or a comment of some mod as offical just because they are a mod. Look at the content.

@TheLittleNaruto That is the main theme of the answer. It is Peyazhwar who is a staunch devotee of Vishnu talking to Tirumozhishai azhwar and explains why worshipping Shiva as supreme is not right. There was a huge discussion about that and at last, Tirumozhishai azhwar was convinced and turned into a Vaishnavite. That is the story.

An Alwar who said that would never say that Venkateshwara is a blend of Shiva and Vishnu. Without knowing the backstories about the azhwars and others, you should not comment.

Tirumozhishai alwar was a Shaivite and wrote poems on Shiva too but Peyalwar came to know about him and turned him into Vaishnavite. This is the story. It is the truth. This is what happened.

It is not like missionary thing and don't always bring "missionary" reference here. It is not good.

You need to know the story and background first before coming to conclusion.
