We are a community which has Hindus, vishnu believers, shiva believers, caste believers, atheists, Christians, muslims and many more. This site is not exclusive for only Hindus. And it is correct way.

Q: Can we compare Big Bang theory with the beginning/ending of a Kalpa?

There is a recent statement by the Nobel Laureate Prof. Roger Penrose, who says that the Big Bang was "not the beginning" of our universe rather it was the end of the previous one. This seems to be in line with cyclical nature of Universe as explained in various puranas and siddantas.

Gita contains Samkhya, Yoga, Vedanta and Bkhati all together. So, It would take much time to completely understand Gita @HinduKid

Many of the concepts come from Mukhya Upanishads.

Here Truth is used to refer parmatma or self

and golden lid is used to refer maya tattva

We are requesting Sun God to remove this maya rupi covering which has become an obstacle in pursuing the truth.

so that we can experience param tattva

@TheLittleNaruto yes, I don't know this particular user. But if they say that their personal preference is such-and-such, that should be acceptable, versus if they say as a "fact" that Vishnu or Shiva is such-and-such. Otherwise, it becomes too heavy censoring, and nobody can say anything :)

Similar to the Purana topic, whether to take Puranas word-by-word literally, or whether to take them as symbolic and metaphorical.

Q: Vedanta and prayer

Is praying, and asking a God for things, useful/beneficial in advaita védanta? Since Isvara is considered to be only conceptually true, and ultimately non-existent, can he really be helpful?
