David Stratton is represented by The Credible Hulk, and Dan is represented by code. They choose profile pictures that make them appear nerdier. Flimzy's profile picture does not seem very nerdy to me.
Maybe some people are natural at being "nerdy".
I think Caleb is the only one that has a very decent-looking profile picture.
@Anonymous Don't forget @waxeagle and his coat of arms representing some super-villain club (or something like that). Whatever ELE is, having a coat of arms for a gravatar has to count for some nerd points.
@waxeagle I never noticed that it was a coat of arms until you mentioned it a few months ago. At first glance, it looks like a red, monster-type face with yellow eyes.
@fredsbend it's even more fun when you spend hours investigating only to realize it's your hosting company's fault, not yours. And they then want to blame you.
@fredsbend netfirms once gave me some bs about only having so many allowed connections, but their account information said nothing of the sort. They were simply overselling their servers
sometimes it worked and other times it didn't - and now I have a new hosting provider ;)

@Daи this is why I don't have a hosting company... well, I do have a hosting company, but I'm part owner and my site isn't actually on that hosting company
and my DC is pretty good about staying up
I just have a random glitch I haven't been able to track down on my server that takes it down about once every 3 to 4 months
