Meh, depressing things only come up for you once every few months. I'm pretty sure that's true for all of us - most people just don't like admitting that sometimes life sucks

I'm still crazy busy of course. I'm done with most of the house-fixing up. I have a handyman coming by for some final things this week and I need to repaint the garage door. After that though I mainly have to do lots and lots of packing and cleaning

I'm optimistic about this week though. I have an (almost final) interview today for a Lead Engineer position. Then I have (hopefully) final interviews with the security position later this week (application security engineer - defensive rather than offensive, which is more my style)

I have an inside joke when I move that isn't that funny and will be less funny when I share it

We have lots of books, but they are largely childrens books.

So I put all the non-childrens books in one box and label it prominently, "Adult books"

Last time I moved I had a couple people from a church I used to go to show up and help move - one of them totally picked up that box, stared at it quizzically for a minute, and then went on with the unloading

I'm hoping my in-laws will unpack the box this time...

@MechMK1 I have a similar "saying" about sex, and how modern culture likes to treat sex as if it is not a big deal at all, and everyone should treat it much more casually. The thing though, is that sex has been the center topic for countless movies, tv shows, and books. When something isn't a big deal, it doesn't become a critical plot point for tv shows and movies.

You know what isn't a big deal? Sandwiches. You know how many movies have been made that are all about sandwiches. Zero. Because it's not a big deal

3rd party API requires HTTP2. SDK uses PHP/curl. I've confirmed that from the command line curl is available and supports HTTP2, but when PHP uses curl it only supports HTTP1. sigh This may take a while...
