@TRiG Yes, hehehe. BTW, while working on my recent BH.SE answer I relish seeing how beautiful Syriac letters look like in typeset. I have been following Unicode since before it was ubiquitously supported by Internet browsers. It clearly proves its usefulness not only for ancient languages but also constructed languages.

... although when comparing the web version with the pdf version, the pdf rendering still wins (see section 5.1.1) because it preserves better the right alignment and spacing control of the Syriac texts and how footnotes are presented. But compared with 15-20 years ago, a very significant improvement.
So PDF still rules over HTML or even epub, even though I'm NOT a fan of Adobe.
