@Daи, after authenticating with google as an external login, you're taken to a registration screen where you are prompted to choose a username. By default this form is populated with your email address as your choice of username. When I register with my google account the screen looks like this:
Obviously this is a dangerous and undesirable default behavior so I modified the page so that the textbox is empty by default forcing users to actually pick the username they want.
@Daи, changing usernames for existing accounts isn't trivial so I'm probably going to delete your account and a few others that have the same problem and you can register again with a new username if you want.
@JonEricson, @swasheck, I deleted your accounts from my annotationproject site because your usernames were the same as your email address This is no longer the default behavior so if you register again you shouldn't have this problem.
@Ami the top menu (tabs) don't work for me in Firefox 26.0 running on Mac OS X 10.9.1, FYI. I can run it fine with Safari 7.0.1 on the same Mac.
@Ami PS I like the new modal window for annotations! Now just to make it auto-populate the text box with highlighted selections, even better let me click the highlighted text and get option to do so (not sure what, if any, other options would exist here)
May I also recommend some more padding between the Author and Annotations columns in this table? See screenshot...
FYI on Firefox I have numerous plugins that restrict various activities on pages, so you should have others test this. I specifically whitelisted your site, but still, you never know - could just be me....
