Q: Meaning of these conditions in the battery charger IC

NewbieIn this battery charger IC, below is a table. My question is what does it mean when Vdd=Vbat & Vdd=Vin? I am not sure on what Vdd exactly is? Going through the flowchart and the other table didn't provide much clarity. Can someone explain me how to understand the highlighted conditions and in wh...

Hello all
Any idea on the above question
The datasheet is very confusing

VDD probably means the output voltage

@W5VO, it is very confusing from the datasheet. How did you come to that conclusion of Vdd being output voltage? Why wouldn't make sense to call Vdd as input voltage?

Because saying "VDD = IN" as a condition makes no sense if VDD is actually the IN pin - it would always be true.
Do you have pull-ups on your status pins?

But I do agree that the terminology here has room for ambiguity and terms are not clearly defined in the datasheet.
