At least I'll be able to tell which designs were made by who... The ones with right angle traces and no schematic are made by one guy.

All the other PCB designs are normal and each have a schematic (previous employee).

I think it only transmits location... but thanks, I'll ask.

Generally those are both hooked up, at least for debugging. Then you write a PC program to "talk" to it, and send/read out debugging messages. Of course for production, removing the RX line makes it harder for someone to "hack."
