And I'll throw out that there are several through-hole connectors that aren't rated for a reflow cycle, so avoiding melting can be very hard
so good job!

@NickAlexeev Around which axis does RotateSelectedObjects work again?
Would something like that work?
A group of components could be mirrored, I don't know whether that's possible with a board.

@Mast I'm trying to flip the view of the board. I don't actually want to rotate objects in the layout.

4:57 PM
@NickAlexeev Shift, right-click and drag?
It's been years since I've used Altium.
0 and 9 rotate the view as well.
I do remember it was a lot trickier than other CAD systems.
Don't X and Y both flip around their perspective axis'?

@Mast I agree that the 3D view controls aren't intuitive in Altium. Compared to, say, SolidWorks. Although, it may be due to some IP which Altium didn't want to infringe. Benefit of a doubt for Altium.
@Mast X and Y flip around their respective axes when I drag PCB elements (components, primitives). I get a [legitimate] warning when I try to flip a component (an IC) around X or Y.
0 and 9, shift right-click drag work only in the 3D view. I can make use of that. I could do rough placement in 3D view.
Thanks for the idea.

@NickAlexeev Yea, but what if you're in 3D view without having selected anything? Shouldn't that flip the view around the axis?
I thought you were already in 3D view :-)
And no problem.

7:42 PM
@Mast I tried that. X and Y didn't flip the 3D view.

Huh.
Alright.

Q: Does individual consumer demand affect supply?

adamaeroContext: boycotting animal products in the US (not rural). I initially think that demand/supply is too simplistic, and delves more into philosophy than analytical economics: Do I Make a Difference? by Kagan (2011 Wiley Periodicals, Philosophy&Public Affairs 39, no.2). I agree 100% that buying ...

Whata think?
