How do I calculate for heat produced by a set power on a set material? Temperature in Fahrenheit. Like for example this is what I mean... 24,000 watts of energy flowing through a piece of steel makes the steel 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Of course with the time it takea to get the material to that temperature.

What type of image processing implementation hardware is used for a humanoid robot that can "see" and detect objects? There should be a PC running Matlab or other similar software for the image processing task? Or they use an FPGA solution?

@dirac16 Either, or both, or neither. There are many ways to do that kind of stuff. You could, for example, use a Raspberry Pi and OpenCV to do that stuff.

@dirac16 I think it depends on how robust you want the robot to be...merely detecting obstacles vs recognizing specific items...
I used to be filled with curiosity on eventually building a cleaning robot...but then, today, just thinking about it...doesn't seem all that much more useful...
I guess if you have a huge mansion a Roomba might be worth it :)
Where is the temperature sensor?
To the right of the capacitors?
Actually, those two symmetric nubs appear to be part of the battery terminals.
This is the DS3231 real time clock btw.
Aw, Marla left..
