@ScottSeidman Are there any ferrous materials in a pacemaker?

@ScientistSmithYT I'll refer you to sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9781845696535500042 -- I don't have university access to this material, but if it's important to you, you can interlibrary loan it somewhere, or buy access.
I can offer my understanding, which certainly may be wrong, so if you're asking for health reasons, talk to a medical doctor.
Most pacemakers are a contraindication for MR imaging. My understanding is that the failure mode has to do with corruption of the program, and not ripping out from under the skin and sticking to the side of the magnet.
So, with respect to ferrous metal, I'd say "not much" -- but again, I could certainly be wrong. There is often a magnetic switch in a pacemaker, but my flat out guess would be that it's a Hall effect switch and not a metal reed.
There are pacemakers available that are rated MRI-safe.

@ScottSeidman Thanks for the extra
@ScottSeidman I will take a look into the link :)
@ScottSeidman I am wondering why magnets effect pacemakers? And also what other mechanical or physical problems they could cause?

@ScientistSmithYT I think it's time for you to start doing some research on it. It's all out there

@ScottSeidman Thank you. I’ll do that.

hi, what's the difference between RoHS and CQC?

Never heard of CQC (as an electronics term)

here's marking example.
probably because it's not a term.)
not sure if this is the right place to ask, though.

do you know what RoHS is?

product's quality standard, no.?

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, (RoHS 1), short for Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union. The RoHS 1 directive took effect on 1 July 2006, and is required to be enforced and became a law in each member state. This directive restricts (with exceptions) the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. It is closely linked with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive ...

I was nearly right.
