It's amazing how much time you can spend looking for a solution to a problem that is obvious after you've found it.
@WesleyLee Half the time, Molex Micro-Fit parts aren't compatible with Molex Micro-Fit parts (I'm mostly thinking of contacts with housings, it's a huge PITA to figure out what goes with what)

@ThePhoton lol, and the amount of platings, contacts for different wire gauges, old part numbers, doesnt help. I was just asking because farnells website suggested TE Mate n lok as a "replacement" and mechanically/dimensionally the drawings seem identical. I'll stick to the same brand though for now, for the qty I need (~300) the price diff isn't that significant.

Q: How to reduce voltage jitter of a linear power supply?

Aleksander Alekseev - R2AUKI made a simple linear power supply for my transceiver using 12V 30A transformer, four diodes RHRP3060 forming a rectifier and three 30_000 µF capacitors connected in parallel. I also used a 200 Ω 50W resistor to discharge capacitors in a few seconds after powering the device off. The power supp...

@WesleyLee And when you start worrying about $0.001 per piece price differences, TE will be too expensive. (as will the distributor mark-up)
My company actually makes a knock off of either Micro-Fit or Mini-Fit Jr (I don't recall which), but f*ck if I can even get anybody's attention to send me a few samples if I am not interested in at least 10k pieces.
If you were designing the next X-Box or something, and wanted this, you could just call us up and tell us to make a knock-off of whichever PN you want.
