@ScientistSmithYT The maximum ripple voltage is a parameter you set. How much ripple is acceptable to whatever you are powering with the high voltage?

The power supply was just because I didn't have any thing really fitting at hand, but I think I'm going to keep it in the final project - though I'll probably make the coil out of something more dignified than a toilet paper roll.
