Snork Just checked the user rankings on EE. Olin hasn't posted since October, but he's only three places behind me in the monthly ranking for January. All upvotes on old answers.

Q: How do I identify this component? It just says 0 on it

Todor K.Can anyone help me identify this component? It just says 0 or D on it (I think it's a zero). I tested it for conductivity with a multimeter - doesn't seem to have any (tried both polarities in case it's a diode). Tested for resistance: nothing (i.e. infinite resistance), although I'm not 100% sur...

 
@NickAlexeev -- do you have a dupe target in mind?
mindread() returned EINVAL :P

@Shalvenay No specific dupe target in mind. But, the questions "what/why a 0-Ohm resistor?" have been already asked a good few times.
