hello EEs
anybody knows how could someone become better at circuit analysis
especially for transistor circuits
spend some time analyzing circuits and then breadboarding them and seeing how things match your analysis?
actually what i do is analyse the circuit by hand then check it with Ltspice
but sometimes i get different results and i blame it on my circuit analysis skills
that helps too
@Raykh but yeah, figure out why your numbers are different, don't just blame it on lack of skill
like i was wondering if there are circuit toplogy properties and resources that you guys are aware of?
just like in math, a fraction can be written in different ways
I was wondering if there is something similar to circuit analysis

@Raykh learn to work with LTspice ASAP. That and Matlab+Simulink are imo the most important learning tools of a beginning EE. I was never forced to learn/use LTspice for anything, but now I use it al the time.
(Matlab+Simulink is more useful for control systems though, so not really relevant for you yet I'm guessing)

@RungeKutta, I agree and as I stated in my earlier comment I use LTspice extensively to check my circuit analysis by hand. But what am concerned with is becoming stronger at hand calculations for circuit analysis. I would like to find some resources that can provide concepts on circuit properties, and topologies that I can learn to manipulate any circuit for hand based circuit analysis.

You will never be able to include all the effects (nonlinearities, nonidealities) in your hand analysis that Spice can include in its simulation.
So the best thing isn't to try to replicate Spice results with hand analysis, but learn to know what details you need to include in a Spice model to get an accurate result, and how to tell when Spice is giving you an unrealistic result (usually because you didn't give it a good enough model).
18:56
Absolutley, but basically am asking for circuit analysis techniques that I can use to manipulate the circuit in hand. Like for example, a transistor circuit using small signal models

Does anyone have any experience in Active Objects design paradigm (v.s. RTOS) and Quantum Leaps products which he/she would like to share?
