Anyone know the GPIB commands to select the math channel on a Keysite scope and read back a measurement value?
I can set a measurement and read back, but I haven't figured out how to programmatically select the math channel.

MEAS:FREQ? <source>
@DanielSank and <source> would be something like "MATH1" (e.g. p545)

Does Ethernet over power adapter have to be on the same circuit?

@William it doesn't but it does depend on wiring and the distance between outlets. I tried this in a commercial building once and I could reach some parts of the building but not others the building did have multiple panels. In a home I would expect most points to be reachable.

@William It helps. Powerline ethernet is used in Germany as well.
German home wiring often has 3phase power (appartment buildings and offices more so.) The outlets in various parts of the building will be on different phases. If you just plug things together, it often doesn't work well. You can have an electrician install some "phase connector" thingy in the main panel. It allows data between the phases without causing a short circuit - basically a high pass filter that blocks line frequency while passing the RF data signal

Even when it works it usually doesn't work

@W5VO Nice. Thanks!
