@BartekBanachewicz That resistor is called "return wire"
hey there @Asmyldof
hiyos
would a question about what makes a PT (VT) suitable for "revenue grade" metering apps be on-topic for the site?
KM (LP)?
You need to be clearer at 5AM
potential transformer (voltage transformer)
03:04
Probably only when very carefully phrased

@Asmyldof a liter of grinding disc may do
@PlasmaHH you measure those by the liter?

1 hour later…
09:20
@Asmyldof I keep them in buckets ^^
@PlasmaHH That, I do believe
09:44
@Asmyldof is it?
You assume wires are all perfect conductors?
Clearly you were powering the LED through the NTC before
10:10
@Asmyldof "clearly"
how do you know? :D

how in the world does a 3AG fuse achieve a 10kA@125VAC interrupting rating?

5 hours later…
17:15
@Shalvenay You're confusing interrupt rating and rupture rating. Whether or not 10kA can safely be interrupted depends on the load, source and how the fuse is embedded in the design
Rupture can be made sure of with fiber reinforcement and/or non-ionising gas filling, and whether or not the larger design will then also allow interruption of such is a whole different matter
However, at an AC voltage and a standard that allows two cycles of extinction interruption is also not too hard, given the rupture rating

@BartekBanachewicz Because I'm a magical being with super powers
