hmm, a little disappointed about that question merger since the questions are really quite different (though the one was really too much a shopping question)
if a battery grip is worth it is an entirely different question than comparing on and off brand ones
and it did make my answer no longer fit the question
sill be interesting to see if the necromancer badge stays on my account though
actually, michael clarks answer doesn't fit either
@jrista - it really seems like that merge should probably be undone and either the thread left as closed or the entire question (and associated answers) deleted as a whole
