It is way too easy to consume space with digital RAW these days.
I have an 8TB NAS device, and it is more than a third full with nothing but photography, lightroom catalogs, and photography backups.
yeah, my 12TB USB3/eSATA RAID enclosure and it is more than a third full already though it mostly has video projects

I tried to make an anchored link, but it is difficult with a smartphone that I've only used a couple of weeks - not familiar with it yet
Anyway, have you people given any thought into what happens to all those photos after you die? Me personally have not, and the matter occasionally bugs me, I should take a moment to think and then do something.
personally, I have a heart rate monitor linked to a block of C4 in my computer so the problem will take care of itself ;)
ok, maybe not
Final solution :)
uh, that's a kinda loaded phrase I think, from WWII Germany, or was it?
Would be fun though.. to see the girl / woman of your dreams walking on a sidewalk and smiling to you ... bang! All photostorage gone forever :)

@EsaPaulasto yes, that was the phrase from WWII Germany

@jrista Well, I guess you shoot RAW and I'm shooting 5MP JPEG :)
But also I only manage to get out with my camera every other weekend or so

@MattJ Ah, 15Gb in JPEGs is more impressive then. ;P

how can a person be very happy and thankful of an answer and not even bother to vote up...
20:55
@MichaelNielsen Those who don't know how to use StackExchange.

I saw someone on SO reply to an answer to their question with another answer
I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often

@MichaelNielsen Doesn't it take a certain amount of rep to be able to vote up?
I think you need 15 reputation before you can up vote
which I think even applies to your own questions.
