Well, less so now. Interesting how often that seems to happen though :)

@LightBender heh, I noticed that too for awhile. If there's ever a magnet for downvotes on photo submissions, it's dead animals...

@Vikas We can't really answer that question, because "better" has all sorts of meanings or values, depending on which basis for "better" you're talking about. I know modern consumerism has drilled "stat comparison = better/worse" into all of us very hard, but that's not really how it works. I was wondering if there might be a way to elevate the description of the theme to make it more prominent. Many of the entries this round focus on things that surprised the photographer when the stated theme is about surprising the viewer. I've never had this hard a top upvoting others, but as much as I like some of the pictures, they just don't fit the theme.
